No comment on the officilas. However full praise to my lot who played some great stuff last night and a great debut to 16 year old Brendan Matthew. (he showed why every club needs youth coming through) Considering our missing list of injuries, suspensions and certain peolpe who cant be bothered to turn up or bother contacting me i was really pleased.

Now on for Saturday. Guildford at Home ! Cant wait......

STEVE AT THIS STANDARD IT'S KNOWN THAT CERTAIN PLAYERS ARE NOT AS PROFESSIONAL AS HIGHER LEAGUES, THAT'S WHY AT TIMES PEOPLE SAY THAT THE CCL IS A GLORIFIED SUNDAY LEAGUE WHICH IS A LITTLE UNFAIR TO THE PEOPLE WHO RUN IT AND EACH CLUBS MANAGEMENT. BUT IT'S CLEAR THE PLAYERS ATTITUDE MAKE THE CCL SOUND THAT WAY. Been under the raydar for a while NG.

I have a new approach now with all officilas as i cannot afford to give the CCL any more money !

I thought the officilas were very good on Saturday and the ref got all the big decisions right. Including both sendings off.

I thought the game overall was pretty entertaining but thought we deserved to get a point out of it.

Not making excuses but with 7 first team players missing, 2 centre midfilders playing in defence, 2 players starting their first gameof the season (one who is 37

we knew it would be a big ask and i was very pleased with our overall effort and attitude. (SLOPPY GOALS THOUGH !)

Not taking anything away from Molesey though. There a good young side who will do well this year.

As for certain players letting me down its simple: If you do not want to play for me or Egham Town just have the Bo**ocks to tell me and dont waste my time.

The excuses i have heard lately are beyond belief !

It is my biggest frustration as a manager and i just wish people would be honest.

May have to take some valium for Saturday. Guildford at home !

I TEND TO AGREE WITH YOU THERE, I THOUGHT THE OFFICIALS DID WELL SATURDAY. YEAH AGREE OVERALL PERHAPS A POINT WAS DESERVED. THOUGHT MOLESEY STARTED SHARP GOING 2 UP AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE IN FAIRNESS, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE PROUD OF YOUR BOYS IN THE WAY THEY RESPONDED. I THINK THE MOLESEY 3RD GOAL TOOK THE STUFFING OUT OF EGHAM, BUT COME THE LAST 15-20 MINS YOU PUT 3 OR WAS IT 4 UP TOP TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF THE GAME WAS A GOOD MOVE ALTHO' SUSPECT TO MOLESEYS QUICK COUNTER ATTACKS WHERE THEY WERE DANGEROUS. I AGREE AGAIN THEY ARE YOUNG BUT DO HAVE TALENTED QUICK PLAYERS AND CAN SEE WHY THEY HURT TEAMS, CHAMPIONS NOT YET SURE.........

 

GUILDFORD WILL BE A BIG TEST FOR YOU GUYS ON SATURDAY. NEED TO HAVE A GOOD REAR GUARD AGAINST THIER FRONT PLAYERS IF YOU DO THAT, YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE 'COS YOU ALWAYS SCORE GOALS. INFACT I MIGHT EVEN COME TO WATCH THAT ONE IF ITS ON. WORD OF WARNING, WHEN I'VE SEEN GUILDFORD PLAY, THEY MOAN, INTIMIDATE, WHIND UP PLAYERS HENCE PLAYERS GET SENT OFF AGAINST THEM, AND HAVE A VERY NOISY BENCH, BUT OVERALL A GOOD TEAM.

 

NOW IF YOU BEAT THEM, IT WILL MAKE THE LEAGUE MORE INTERESTING !

I may have to argue on that E&H. Was at Sandhurst Town last night watching the U18's game & the bloke in the middle was so bad that everyone watching the game was laughing at him at the end of the game. It was a waste of time having assistants as he over-ruled them everytime, even though they were clearly in a better place to seeing the incidents..........shocking & felt sorry for those kids who were trying to play football

I think that that showed the impeccable honesty of the man,and why I hold him in high esteem,he could of denied the Peacocks,as it was touch and go.Any other forumite would of took the flak,and denied them the opportunity to score,which due to our fortress defence ,they were unable to do from open play.No other way were they going to score in a million years.They have not posted 1 positive comment about the day or the game on here,shame on them.
