Staines Lammas 1 : 4 Cobham

Delayed start due to a little confusion with the lights, but a good match - Cobham played very well and had a young 17 year old in goal who did well

MV 1 Egham 3

Mv 1 up at half time through Holden, both defences playing well. The main attraction of this game was THE WORST SET OF OFFICAILS OF ALL TIME.(WELL THE REF)

Remember pedro mendes at old trafford, well egham had a goal disallowed that was a foot past that! good for mv but harsh on egham.

Which leads to the inconsistency, eghams players were livid(rightly so) and all sorts of swear words were launched at the ref and lino, no cards.

Second half players booked for saying "oi" to the ref after MORE shocking decisions. Mv centre half booked for his first takcle, heard him from the sideline calmly stating his case, but the ref was the most rude and arrogant person i'd ever met and if i was spoken to like that outside of football well...! knowing the player thought he showed great restraint NOT even swearing.

More controversy as egham equalised, i know were all rusty after the enforced break but these mature lino's cant keep up with play!!!( not all mature people smudge!!) pomroy who was shackled all game tapped in from the goal line apparently not offside!!! More shouting this time from mv players again NO swearing, the booked mv defender asks to be taken off as the smiling ref said "am i winding you up" as he's walking off the ref calls him back and gives a second yellow and changes the game. I hope some egham supporters will back me up here as if the game was not won for them they would be on here in their droves. I know a few players thinking of packing it in on saturdays and playing on sunday parks pitches(better standard of ref?) and SOME refs in this leauge are the wosrt i've ever seen. I know players make mistakes and i;ve never ranted about refs before. Sorry to any ref posters but just my view.

Good luck to egham in the next round, they've got some great supporters with good banter.

Gertcha dave, think the Officials were appointed by Surrey,so not sure if they were C.C.L.Officials.The one at R.P.V. had a good first half in my opinion, but the assessor thought otherwise.2nd half it went from bad to worse, but he was let down by his lino's,who could not keep up with play, but at least they were consistenly slow, one got passed by a snail, going at half pace.5 bookings I think 2nd Half,so SURREY F.A. £50 to the good.Interesting Steve not commenting on the Officials, were they good,or has he had his knuckles rapped for airing his views on here.Which is a shame if he has, because NO ONE from the League ever answers my Questions, and we know they read this site.

All ways gets me that the only ones in the Ground who did not see it go in are the officials!
