I wonder if this second defeat on the trot means that chalfont are getting the jitters....

The Doog is King - There's surprisingly no report as yet on the, normally quick off the mark, Tring Athletic website but here's something from the Buckinghamshire Advertiser. Chalfont supremo Danny Edwards said that 'the defeat has handed Tring the belief that they are still in the title race' but fairly said after the proceedings at Cow Lane that 'Tring deserved the three points and they tested us all over the place, we lacked quality in the final third and defended poorly, in the first-half we played like nine year old's and did not use our pace, we are still four points in the lead but it is disappointing:

Was at the game last night against Chalfont,and what a performance from Tring !!! i had the misfortune to witness saturdays abject display against Dunstable in the Vase ,so turned up fearing the worst !!! but from the outset athletic went at chalfont, and apart from a ten minute spell at the start of the 2nd half,it was all Tring !! captain Graham Hall heading the winner mid way thru the 2nd !!

Slightly dissapointed with the crowd of 97, but those that were there,saw a great game of attacking football,its amazing how one win can erase the memory of some aweful displays from Tring in the last month or so,luckily all cup matches !!!

Not really, they did look dangerous going forward as usual, but were very shaky at the back, Vinnie Iannone and Ash Addison gave CSP s defense a torrid time !!! just a good game all round, a much better game from Tring,a huge improvement on recent cup games !!
