A brief report on this affair from another's Forum:

 

SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE PREMIER

Dunstable Town 0-2 Leverstock Green

After their FA Vase heroics at Tring on Saturday, Dunstable were brough crashing down to earth by a very workmanlike Leverstock Green side who scored twice in the space of a few minutes in the second half. Dunstable huffed and puffed but they couldn't blow the house down with several near misses and Leverstock's goalie in good form.

 

The frame of the new clubhouse/changing rooms is now in place, however there will be no spectator accommodation. The 3G pitch over the far end is now fenced off with floodlight pylons in place. Another structure looks likely near to where the players come out. The work is still scheduled to finished at the end of March; however my guess is that the club will decorate/equip over the summer ready for full use at the start of next season.

Decent night out in London to relax before a massive day on the Wednesday. Shame about the football!

 

Chalk Lane is the first ground I've been to in the SSML so I can only compare it to other Level 10 grounds (Western 1 and SWPL). It only has one side of covered standing/seating which is more than adequate for the small amount of hardy fans they have. Decent clubhouse too which at HT was playing Christian Radio which I've not heard before at a game!

 

After both sides had hit the woodwork early on this game sadly fizzled out and at HT, everybody knew this would finish 0-0. About 1 minute walk from Cockfosters Tube Station.
