Money can buy you lots of things. It can buy you players, smarten up your ground, a coach and blazers for your players. It can build restuarants and bars, but judging by Upminsters pathetic turn-out it obviously can't buy you support. If I was an Upminster fan my face would be as red as your shirts!

Those blazers were hilarious - seen better quality on a school blazer!

 

Were there any Upminster fans there? I saw some flags, and I *think* there were some small children running around behind them but I couldn't hear any indication that they were there to actually support their team - presumably if they'd managed to win they would have been giving it large, but as it was off they went in their executive bandwagon they jumped on!

 

The disadvantage with having a few bob is that putting players on big contracts mean they don't care about the results - they get paid win lose or draw. Our players wanted to win because they're playing for the shirt - Upminster's are playing for money.
