A person today won my Smudgey pass in todays Raffle,which entitled FREE ENTRY TO ANY C.C.L. Club, I just hope they honour it,in the spirit it was intended,can clubs confirm on this thread they will.People in C.C.L. No about this forum,so please ask their respective Clubs,if it is ok.WARLINGHAM,EVERSLEY,have already done so.

Smudgey.......I know you said that you may be over to watch us at Carlshalton on Saturday....I will let u know if the game is on all depending on the weather......If you do come, I will introduce you to all the lads and backroom staff and make it an enjoyable afternoon for you....Even have a cuppa and a sandwich after the game ok mate. You are a good man and what non-league football is all about....Pity there are not enuf like you...................

Smudge, I've not consulted with anyone else on the committee but I doubt we'd have any objection to someone using this pass at the Spectrum. Of course it would always help to know what it looked like!

 

Mind you, it might have been better to get the permission of clubs/league before offering it as a prize. You never know, the league might even have offered an official CCL pass as the raffle was for a good cause - but they'd need the agreement of absolutely every club to do that!

Every member club in the CCL gets I believe 4 official CCL passes to use for the season. But from my experience at a lot of clubs the're very rarely used, particularly by several division one clubs. Most of them sit in the secretary's briefcase or desk gathering dust. Surely somebody here can aquire one from their club, then job done, all official, no worries. Any takers out there?
