Who were the 5 people who turned up at London APSA???? I can't help thinking if they changed their name to "East Ham Town" or "Plaistow United" or even "Newham Olympic" to reflect the area they represent it may attract some more people to watch them. What do people think?

WELL DONE TO STANSTED FOR THEIR GREAT RESULT AT STANWAY AND WHAT A TRIP FOR THEM IN THE NEXT ROUND TO BODMIN TOWN....

Can I correct you on Enfield's Neil Hughes goal time Kevin . It was about 63 mins not 83 . He got the second not the third .

Well done to Stansted , what a great result for them guys . thumbsup%20(2).gif

I have to say 2 things.

1) Why are a club like "London APSA" even allowed into the ESSEX senior league? and, with ridiculously poor attendances, why are they allowed to continue competing in a league they are not equipped for?

2) Why is former Aveley startlet playing for Burnham Ramblers when he quite clearly should be playing at a higher level?

He is better than any Bethnal Green player. He has played a part in a Ryman Premier club.

To be honest Mark, with Ryman clubs struggling for money,a lot of quality players have finally decided to play in a stronger League like the ESL this season.Better managers, better football played and more competitive.Even the refs are getting better!grin.gif And better coaching as well!lol

Billy Hunt did play for Aveley this season but wasn't enjoying it, got fed up sitting on the bench and would rather play for nothing than do that a pick up a little bit of cash. Still think he has a little way to go before being a true Ryman Premier striker - so I'm happy to keep him with me for the time being

Agent Strahm - Saturday was the best we have played this season. Sawbo weren't a bad side but it was a joy to stand and watch the us pass the ball about

Just hope the bad weather predicted doesn't stop us from playing again before Christmas

Gaffa1,

There is a danger that you could be out of both cups by Thursday morning. Both these cups you are the holders of. Some fans may be disappointed with a lacklustre defence of the cups you worked so hard to win last year.

I take it you will be going all out attack to beat Witham on Wednesday. Only a win would guarantee progression.

Also a few words have been exchanged between Witham and BGU, especially during the previous cup game.

How do you seem the game shaping up? One not to be missed by the neutral you'd agree.
