I hear that there is some doubt as to the game taking place at Cove tomorrow. If it is called off does that mean Sunday will be off too cos I would hate Molly to come on here with any accusations if tomorrow is off and Sunday is on

snow on 50% of the pitch and very icey in the far goal mouth.

 

They tried a machine to break the ice today but failed. I will eat my hat if tomorrows scheduled match with Camberley is ON. Not in a million!

 

Hoping hoping hoping that it thaws more tomorrow with the temp at 7 celcius so we can play on it on sunday for the charity match!

Fingers crossed. Could do with the sun coming out. Went over the local park yesterday and where the snow and ice is still laying the pitch is rock hard underneath. Just off to my AB's pitch now to see if that is playable.

Nothing that exciting.  I'm down to officiate there and it would also be my first time visiting the ground which is always nice!  

 

At one stage I was down to do Farnham Town but asked for a switch... purely because I've done them quite a few times now and it is good to have a change.  I live about five minutes drive from them.

Just called off 2 AB's matches. All snow gone on both pitches but in one goalmouth on each pitch there is a 2 incj covering of ice. It is solid and wehn I broke a bit away the ground underneath is rock solid. Also around it where the ice was melting there were big pools of water developing and had nowhere to go cos ground rock hard.

Would say Farleigh is a definite to go ahead,No Snow left were I live,3 miles from ground,just been over our local park,underfoot conditions are excellent no frost in it at all.

Im planning on seeing cove v camberley 2 day any news on what time pitch inspection is johno

pitch inspection by local referee at 10pm although he may refer it to the match referee to make the actual decision. Snow and ice is melting nicely but now flooding the far end. 50% of the pitch is now perfect and soft under foot. Manager still reckons it'll be off and is already planning a training session. We are all dying for this match to be on so fingers crossed.

 

Looking better for Sunday now too. Hope you can make that Steve
