Just been to our pitch. It still has pockets of snow on it & down one touchline, but since last night it seems to be going, so hopefully the temp will stay above freezing & melts it away.

 

However trying to get hold off the match referee to organise an early pitch inspection, then we can see if he agree with our thoughts & hopefully we can get the game on....will update when i get a time from him

EDIT: Guvnor, yep, seems that way!

 

 

 

 

 

Mewey don't give up hope yet,Purley Way, Croydon which was covered in Snow yesterday, was almost snow free at 11 am today.if the predicted forecast is correct,i.e no freeze tonight my guess is The Arena should be fine,late inspection maybe.

Being in the Area think this is more likely,but Wind Chill makes some difference in how it feels.What makes me Laugh though,is why is it Council Employees just wait for the elements to work the Miracle,Scott Hart moaning about whose been Running on his track,whilst he presumably been sitting in the warm.A bit of Elbow grease young man,helps clean snow.
