Tonights game was abandoned after 37 mins

And that's 37 minutes after it should have been abandoned. Ludicrous attempt to play a game. No fault of AFC Hayes either. After one injury to our former 'keeper Tom McNeil, several players going A-o-E, and far too many near-misses in tackles, an Assistant Referee slipped on the touchline and the referee immediately decided enough was enough. Luckily, we didn't suffer any injuries in those 37 minutes. Understandably, those who travelled and paid good money felt quite aggrieved as they trudged out of the gate.

 

PS: Did anyone else see the Yoof Centre next to the clubhouse? A wall of 42" plasmas being used to play games on by laid-back yoofs on comfy chairs. No wonder we don't see enough youngsters at our games if that level of luxury is being provided by local authorities. Where did it all go wrong.....?

 

Same day, time and place next week for those of us prepared to endure the cold conditions outside................ Let's hope more than 67 turn up to see it.

Thought they (AFC Hayes ), could have at least offered the people that had paid to watch this fiasco,a ticket, to gain free entry to the match when is is re-arranged.

Left home at 6pm. Sat in traffic on M4 near junction 3 for nearly 2 hours as M4 closed after junction 3 which caused chaos.

Got text to say we were one up sam w the scorer.

Just about to get to ground in time for second half and got text to say game called off.

 

Got home after sitting in a car for 3 hours. Nice!
