Are there anymore spaces on the fans focus team? Seeing as I'm turning out for them on the 18th might as well put my name forward for this as well.

Just a quick update for those still wishing to enter a team in the tournament.

Deadline for entrys will be Sunday 11th June.

This is to allow time to sort the fixtures and to produce and print the programmes.

Regards,

Daniel

Sounds like a strong side. What's the team name?

CCL Wanderers

Looking forward to seeing your mercurial talents on show for the first time JJ!

Weather forecast says it's going to be a scorcher as well - are any other forum members playing this Sunday?

What a scorcher down at Eversley today!! Absolutely fantastic tournament....one of the best and most competitive I have ever played in.......running ahead of schedule, amazing!

Your club should be pround Daniel as i know from experience that these events do not run themselves and take a great deal of planning and organisation as well as time to set up, etc. With all profits helping towards next years budget I'm sure it was worth it though!

There were some great teams on show today, quality was very high....did think Knaphill and South Park were on for the trophy though after cruising their groups....but Blackerwater Valley always tend to do well in these events and gad some very good players, especially their centre back who looked mustard (maybe a new arrival at Eversley next year as Savo was deep in conversation with him afterwards, plus with Gerald taking over Eversley Reserves, I'd say he's a nailed on new signing).

All in all a very good day out at a fantastic venue - I wonder how many bottles of water were drunk/sold today??....at 50p ittle they were flying off the shelves!

Shame we never did any better but not sure I had enough in the tank to go beyond the QF's anyway! And JJ...is it time to rebuild a new 5 a-side team??

Well done Eversley I understand this was your first ever tournament, very impressive and hope to be back next year, perhaps in not so tropical conditions. Great opportunity to showcase the excellent facilities too (main pitch looked like carpet....and the rest weren't too bad either!). Also good opportunity for a lot if players to commence their pre-season and get a bit of fitness under their belts.

Sav's 'wham' appearance was quality, obviously there to entice a few new players into his squad for next season, rumour has it that a certain Ray Spence will be linking up with Sav and Clem again, will we see the best of him in the CCL I wonder??? Great aquisition if it pays off, but with Spence that us a bug IF!

With lights due to go up at the ground by the end of the year and a number of decent new players coming in, I wonder if we can make Eversley early contenders for promotion....their pitch certainly deserves Premier Division status!

Also heard this evening that Knaphill will be the first club travelling over to Guernsey on the opening day of the season.
