Suspended for the Charity game?

Hi,

I play for Knaphill and was sent off on October 30th, resulting in a 2 game ban. The first of these was a match on November 27th, with the second yet to be served due to the severe weather. We haven't got a game this Saturday so does this mean that I cant play in the Charity game on Sunday as it's league affliated??

Thanks in advance.

If a player is dismissed they will be suspended from ALL football until the team the player was playing for at the time

of the dismissal have completed the relevant number of qualifying matches. For example, if a player is dismissed

whilst playing for a reserve team at step 6 they will be suspended until that team have completed the relevant number of

fixtures

Thats B0llocks as what happens if a player gets sent off on Sunday do they have to wait 2 years for the FF team to play 2 more games.

The FF team are not participating in a league which uses the match-based suspension system.

A player who is dismissed whilst playing in any competition other than those above will

receive a time based suspension unless it is proved to the County Association that the

team which competed in the competition should receive match based suspensions

so a player gets sent off towards the end of the season and gets a 3 match ban, but they only have one game left that season. Does that mean they cannot play in any pre-season friendlies?

I would guess that it depends on whether they are sanctioned, regreting that decision now.

Rules may be rules, but that is absolute bull! It's a friendly for us to be ready for our Christmas Eve charity game, of which 'essien5' usually partners myself at the back. Partly defeats the object of us getting a friendly together for us to play the team we would intend to play on the 24th (obviously the match is for a good cause and charity which is of great benefit for CHASE) but still, its the reason we have been getting friendlies together.

A lot of time and effort has gone into creating the event, of which all of the Peacocks are extremely grateful for those invovled, just a bit of a downer on the game from a Woking Peacocks point of view.

Im with Johnno on this one coffee%20(2).gif

No.

He would be suspended until the end of the season, the suspension is then suspended until the football season starts again and he is then suspended again.........simple init

But our legal system works on case law ie what has happenend in previous cases.

Mark Hughes played in Alex Ferguson's testimonial whilst suspended and he just got a ticking off from the FA rather than an extended ban.

Yeah but Stevie G. punched a fellow in the face,covered by C.C.T.V,Andy Carroll's glass slipped cutting a guy's eye,one got off,the other got a light sentence,Joe Bloggs got 6 months.So no comparison.

Are you implying that there is one law for the rich and famous and one law for the rest of us??

Surely not!!

You will be suggesting that OJ was guilty next!!
