I have to concur, it really was a very very good and exciting game, the whole team were superb....shame for those guys that missed it. I actually thought the officials did quite well although a couple of sly kicks were missed (especially the kick aimed at Dave W in the 1st half).

Keeping fingers crossed that things go our way in court on Wednesday so that we have the opportunity to continue the good work against Bashley.

I enjoyed the game immensely, thought we played very well under some very heavy challenges, especially in the first half. The players did well to remain calm and concentrate on the game in hand.

I would also have to say the officials were possibly the worst officials I have seen in many years. Missed just about everything and were never in control of the game. Lots of late challenges going unpunished, but he seemed to be equally poor both ways, and they always say all players want is consistency.......

Mudge & Byron have done extremely well to keep the players centred on the task in hand and they have been rewarded with a move up to 6th in the league, even with 10 points deducted we only drop to 12th. Most fans would have jumped at 12th at the start of the season. A mid table finish would be a tremendous result at he end of the season, I am not sure if a play off place would be a good or bad thing, maybe settling in this division for a season and looking for something next year might be a better plan. But we would only be 10 points off a play off place with the 10 points deducted and I have yet to see anything in this division to scare us (although we do have Truro in a week so my position may change).

So positives all round if we can just get past Wednesday intact, and from the meeting and the very positive attitudes and plans in place I would be very disappointed if we don't get the opportunity to enter the CVA, that really would benefit no-one.

But tomorrow we look for a place in teh last 16 of the league cup, a winnable cup and why not, silverware is silverware!!!
