Gaffa versus Referees

Got a call today from a source telling me that the Bethnal boys trained today.Near the end in a practice game Gaffa who was trying to play was arguing with the Referee? The Referee who is always right gave a Goal and Gaffa was having none of it,sceaming and hooting told the Ref "i am not having that" and Gaffa the player dissalowed the GOAL? I cant stop laughing at the seriousness of all this and Gaffa should be charged with screaming like a little girl? Gaffa when are you going to learn the Referee is always right,you cannot tell the ref it aint a goal stop screaming like your 7 lol A club insider stated Gaffa has now calmed down and admits it was a goal so the opposing actually won pmsl good ol GAFFA will never change?

It was worse than Brian Glover, Gaffa the player not only disallowed the goal he sent the ref off as well which was really harsh- i thought it was meant to be the other way round. The referee will be disciplined internally by the club and the matter is now closed.

Floating between the 2, whistle went on the pitch and the kettle at much the same time so there was a misunderstanding with the decision. Shame you weren't there 'El Tetley' a nice cuppa would have calmed everyone down.

1) Originally Soggy started as the new Jenko, natural events have taken there cause and Jenko is now the new Soggy- sounds about right.

 

2) He did clutch the ball tightly but forgot it belonged to the Ref who threatened to take the bibs as well- it was a bit of a Texas Stand Off

 

3) There will be no tonguing the Tong this xmas- official. Did empty both sacks Saturday morning but only cos we needed 12 balls for the warm up instead of 6 so had a lot of extra gear to carry.

Ironically we were on the Sog's home stamping ground but he couldn't be there as he reckoned his mysterious Uncle Larry was' taking him in hand '--again.

 

4) I believe FD had taken her horse racing recently, i remember him saying she'd been ' chomping on his bit ' when we last spoke.
