Horace - Yes it was academic in the end but you're missing the point, I have noticed that quite a few schoolboy errors have crept into Football Mitoo lately

From another's Forum, interesting that the pitch was 'perfectly playable':

Pitch perfectly playable although there were 2 or 3 puddles near the centre circle where the ball kept getting stuck.

1st half was okay & Long Buckby scored all their 3 goals.

We were treated to heavy rain in the second half, the pitch deteriorated somewhat although still playable but the game fell apart somewhat.

Just grateful to find a game that was on.

A great performance against a side 2nd in the Herts Senior Premier League, now an all SSML clash to look forward to in the next round against Tring Corinthians.

Another report on Stotfold v Long Buckby, you would have thought more programmes would have been printed:

Also at Stotfold. I thought the first half was a great half of cup football, the second not as entertaining as Buckby easily held their lead.

 

This wasn't my first choice game, as nearby Arlesey Town was also confirmed on during the morning. Unfortunately I arrived at Arlesey at about 2:30 to find it had just been called off by the match referee (the go ahead having been given by a different ref earlier in the day).

 

Luckily Stotfold is quite close. I had to park a little away from the ground as the area was quite parked up, and arrived too late for a programme.

 

I've never had any luck with a programme at Stotfold. This was my third visit, and I haven't seen a proper issue yet. My previous visits yielded two single sheet jobs due to 1) bank holiday printing difficulties; 2) editors holidays. So today I get a sell out.

 

Needless to say if anyone else went and finds themselves with a spare prog, please feel free to PM me. I'll take it off your hands!
