Last nights car/pitch experiment

Last night me and my neighbour undertook an experiment for the sake of AFC Hornchurch and tomorrows game

I cleared my car of snow,he didn't

I woke up this morning to find my car covered in ice,we cleared snow off his car,no ice!!

 

We cleared a 4ft square patch of his garden last night,and left the rest of his garden with snow on untouched

The 4ft square patch was very hard and icy this morning,while we cleared the powdery snow easy enough on the rest of the garden to reveal grass which was not hard and not icy

 

This may sound like a stupid experiment but it shows that maybe leaving any pitch clearance till Saturday is the right decision.And that it could be possible to clear the pitch.

That's what Orient are doing.

They reckon Saturday's game against Carlisl is definatly on.

Temperatures tonight are expected to be -5 if we get a clear sky

As many people as possible are required,this countrys fighting spirit won us two world wars and a world cup,we may of lost the 2018 bid yesterday but let's not lose our dignity,let's do all we can to at least try to get this game on

It's just a load of snow,it won't hurt anybody,personally Harrow wouldn't need to leave till 11,after 2 hours of work on the pitch you would have an idea if the pitch was playable

In fact after 20 minutes you would know as you start taking the snow off,got to be worth rousing the troops for
