Is it the end?

I'm sure there's loads been going on but, having asked for, and received, support from the fans, it really is about time we had a proper update from the "board".

Kevin /Dave/Byron and other committee members have sat on various frustrating meetings in recent weeks,in fact the last being tuesday afternoon this week, and its time for, PETER SIMPSON to come clean,it is he who has lied to people at various meetings,he will pull plug next wednesday and it is he and he alone who has allowed previous managment teams to overspend and he alone,it is he and he alone who has not paid the revenue although telling everyone he has,and yes saturday will be last home game if on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its time PETER SIMPSON told the truth,as for the supporters the players and current managment under very difficult circumstances we should hold our heads up high,as for PETER SIMPSOM he should hang his hesd in shame he has just lied and lied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the observer this morning Stott has pulled out of the club and so the only way it can be resolved now is a 12th hour bid from someone else.

I think its an abasolute joke that you are going down (you are one of our main rivals yes but this is sick when Wayne Rooney is earning enough to run your club for over 2 years in a week)

This is an open question to the club officials including team management, can we have a meeting next week with the supporters to discuss next steps assuming the courts liquidate us as expected on Wednesday?

It is unlikley we will get a 'Super hero' to suddenly turn up and pay the debts so perhaps we need to consider other options such as re-forming and starting lower down the pyramid although we really do need to retain Stag Meadow as the home (reasons are obvious). If this is possible, perhaps Kevin will continue his interest in taking over the club and implementing his plans. Thoughts from anyone please..............

Another 'open' meeting is being arranged at this very moment, details of which will appear on here as soon as they are finalised [Provisionally put 6pm tomorrow evening in your diaries]. This time once confirmed will go ahead, game or no game.

A terrible prospect, but one that sadly does not surprise me. My brother is also a Scarborough (Original club went into liquidation in 2007 - now Scarborough Athletic in the NCEL) fan, so having seen that once fine club go out of business, I have seen parallels between that club and WEFC now. I have feared for weeks that the club would not see Christmas, but was sincerely hoping that I would be proved wrong.

Whilst I hope that the club can still be rescued, the propects do not look good. I have have seen clubs reform after the original has gone bust, and it's been the best thing for them. Maybe as long as a new club can retain Stag Meadow, this may also prove to be the best thing to happen to Windsor & Eton in the long run.

A meeting has been arranged for Saturday, whether the game with Hednesford is on or off. See the new Topic listed a few minutes ago.

It'll start at either 5pm if the game is OFF, or 6pm if the game is ON.

I'm tempted to test out how good the swear filter is on this board.

Reading between the lines Peter Simpson isn't getting something he wants - seeing as it's only guesswork I'm holding my contempt in check as it may be wholly inappropriate.

Personal interest / grudges better not be getting in the way of progress here.

Theres a few more twists and turns to come, but we can survive even if cva is the only option, heads up everyone the end may not not be nigh,if we can get away with only 10 points deduction Dave/Byron could keep us up,is there anyone going to ground on saturday morning to try and get it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeting at 5pm if game is off or 6pm if the game is on according to quotes from Kevin Stott in the Express

Stott refutes Simpson's claims

I have to say the comments made by IN OF THE POST have for sure be a long time coming and I am surprised that no-one has made this point earlier. There has been nothing but lie after lie after lie from Peter, not only about the old debts that he totally refused to pay to a team (and by team I include all the working staff and management) that won the league for him for the first time in years, this was left to be paid in full to all the players, past and also present by Kevin and out of his own pocket at a time when he wasn't even linked to the club, including any bonuses that Peter even confirmed in the local paper that he would pay, but again nothing was forthcoming, he didn't even have the decency to pass his thanks onto Kevin for bailing him out of this situation. Peter sat down pre-season with Dave and a few players to go over the seasons budget and in his own words, after being questioned by the players, he would honour the budget for the whole season and any short-falls would be covered by himself and out of his own pocket..... He has never paid in full any of the budget to the players and staff for the whole of this season, the shortfalls again have been sourced from gate money, etc and managment have delayed taking any wages to ensure the players receive the monies owed. This club has so many people working behind the scenes and for the love of the club and not the money to try and keep the club going, yet Peter throws it all back in their face. He continues to blame both Kevin and Keith Scott for all of the club's problems and will not take any responsibility himself, he is the man that signed the cheques, he is the man that has not paid the tax bill for 5 years, he is the man that sat in front of all those supporters and asked for financial help to try and get us out of this situation, a figure of 10k was suggested to presnt to HMRC of which the supporters came up with 7k and then again Kevin offered to make up the difference, again out of his own pocket!!!!!!!!!!, he is the man that now does not want to pay a penny to either HMRC or any of the creditors that are owed money, what would he of actually done with the supporters money had it been forthcoming as he now it appears does not want to pay any of the outstanding debts at all. Who is paying the wages to the players and staff at the moment, I can for certain be sure that it's not Peter !!!!!!!!!!! No-one can doubt what Peter has put into the club over the years both in his time and money and no-one can deny him the right to want to walk away from the club to enjoy the rest of his life but does he want to walk away from the club with his head held up high with his name intact for years to come or with a very sour taste and his head bowed in disgrace for letting a club such as Windsor go into liquidation when all he has to do is pay what he owes and let Kevin then deal with taking the club forward. We have all accepted that we are going to go into administration and lose 10 points, but I am sure the lads even after losing these points can still stay in this division but for us to go into liquidation is just unthinkable and would be so very sad for all the people past and present that have worked to get the club where it is today, including Peter as well. If he has any love for the club, and can put any personnel differences aside that he has with Kevin, for the sake of WINDSOR AND ETON FC, and pay what is due then we have a good chance of not only staying in this league but moving forward next year with the plans that Kevin has in mind to move us even further forward in the future.

Let's hope the game goes ahead tomorrow and the lads secure another 3 points and move up the table !!!!!!! See you all tomorrow

I am pleased to hear that Kevin has arranged a meeting for saturday, it suggests there may be some hope for the club continuing.

I have always been a supporter of Peter's chairmanship, and I feel that he did a great job for a long period of time, but I think the time has come to acknowledge that mistakes have been made and that it is time to step aside a let someone else sort the mess out.

Just have to add that this is not KEVIN making his comments made on the forum, this will be done in person by himself no doubt tomorrow but by one of the very few NCFC supporters. You Ipswich fans may well no know who i refer to !!!!!!!!!!!! 4 - 1 is all I have to say,,,ha ha

200k a year going out...on what exactly? Mudgie claming hellnic wages, a small rent to the crown...Scotty the Stag to blame? Been using the clubs money on a PR man to stop the moose claims?

Or is it just another lie from the power(s) that be?

Oh well. Clean broom get rid of the people that alot of fans wanted out ( We, and i bet you, know who you are!). Cut the cancer out of the club and an AFC with the energy and support and most importantly of all duty of care that the supporters club currently has and if the fan base doesnt dwindle too far South west division isnt a million miles from what the club could survive at!
