Have today seen the lowest peg on the human food chain

Standing in Ludgate Circus is a man who looks to have more than two brain cells holding an 8ft long stick of timber (vertical)

Attached is the Mcdonalds crown poster with an arrow pointing down Fleet St

Can anybody think off an employment position lower down the career progression chain

in 1983 my first job was to take all the normal staples out of huge files and replace them with one giant staple from the 'mega' stapler. i also had to go round the office and switch all the lights back on as they all still switched off at 3 pm (a hangover from the 70's miners strike and power shortages).. i have also tried to get 7 fry ups with beans through one of those extra narrow security revolving doors which you had to swipe a card through to open whilst about 5 security staff pissed themselves laughing.. my byrites shirt and extra wide polyester paisly tie were not happy

Ah yes, but with the right language you can turn any menial sounding job into an important sounding job. For example, the bloke with the MacD's stick could be 'store location manager', or CANV's stapling job could be re-named 'stationary re-assignment co-ordinator'.

I, intstead of being a waitress in a coffee shop, am a 'caffine produce development personnel'! (although my proper title is 'Barista' which means 'proffesional coffee maker' in Italian!-very pretentious!)

its important to start at the bottom so you can appreciate any achievments more.. its also important not to stay there to long.. and you need to be prepared to go back to the bottom a few times to get where u want to be...

although drifting through life seeing where the current takes you is genearally much more fun

people lucking their way to the top i can handle, thats just the way of the world, the same if your born into it, no reason why parents shouldnt leave what they have achieved to their children.. what i hate are the talentless coporate brown nosers, the snidey political animals.. move them out of the way to let some honest talent through
