JJ i think we should train its only a bit of snow 1hr of intensive running will do you all the power of good,Iam off to the gym for the afternoon and will do a 10k run some weights and a sauna, I LOVE ITAA

You are right NG they should train, when I was manager at Frimley Green if we didn't play for 2wks I would take my pitbull called Norman (coz he bites your legs) and chase the lads across the pitch,we were the fittest team in the league and Norman only bit a couple of the players.

Elliot Cardona, our striker, has been injured for what seems to be an eternity! Woody Cardona is a machine and as long as he's well oiled, he does good!

 

I've had to fill in as striker once, with a return of 1 goal and 1 assist.

 

That was our last game!! 13th November!

We were both at Farnham for the last 3 seasons but i moved onto Knaphill at the back end of last season due to a falling out with the manager at the time. Then this season we both joined Cove.

 

We've both always played on the wings but last season Elliot was moved up front and had a hell of season scoring over 30 goals so has stayed there ever since. He's more than capable of doing it in the Prem to as he scored in nearly every game he played in at the beginning of the season but injury has just kept him out and he's still a few weeks away.

 

I play wide right and regulary miss one on ones, lol.

Just to confirm that Ash Utd v Crystal Palace is OFF

Pitch inspection booked for 3.20pm tomorrow afternoon

Im trying to get hold off the Surrey FA at the moment to see if possible to get an inspection for tonight as the pitch was still frozen at 2pm at shawfields road. With the temperature dropping & maybe snow I just want to inform people earlier about our Surrey Cup game against Crystal Palace, so people who was thinking off coming can maybe plan something else

 

If we are not allowed to i'll get a mid afternoon inspection & if off (which is more likely) we hope to try next Tuesday 7th December

I have now had confirmation that all matches scheduled for this evening have been postponed, with the exception of Sutton United Res v Worcester Park in the Surrey Premier Cup, but I have not been made aware of when this match is actually due to take place anyway. I somehow doubt if it is this evening.

I personally dont think there is much difference between the bottom half of the prem and the top half of Div1. Results this season in the cups have proved that. However when your up against the top clubs like Guildford City etc then you notice the difference. I spent most of our game against Guildford running around in circles trying to catch Keiron Gibbs's brother on the left wing!

 

Think we're both coping fine though. Ells especially. We've missed him up there and have lacked goals. Even had to put Johnno up front! Although he did score which we all cringed at as we knew we wouldnt hear the end of it! ......Ey Johnno
