Detective Work Part 4

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, what an eventful weekend it has been for such a quiet weekend football wise.

First piece of information I have to share with you is that Bowers have apparently reported Burnham R to the league for calling Saturday's game. Unlike other games there was no official pitch inspection and the game was called off without allowing any chance of it thawing. Once again this information has come from Eric and by now you will realise how reliable it is.

There has been a lot of transfer gossip as well. This comes from various sources. I will just list what I have heard. Remember this is all pure speculation and there may be no truth in it whatsoever.

Mogege (Barking to Enfield)

Senghore (Romford to Aveley)

Gillam (Bowers to Concord)

Mackin (Romford to Barking)

I think you will see a lot of transfer movement at Aveley as well. The manager has made several approaches for Brentwood and East Thurrock players. Names that have been branded around from East Thurrock are Wray, Cornhill, Newby and Neil Richmond. They are all Miller bound along with coach Jay Devereux. Remy, Butterworth and Green are expected to leave Brentwood.

Finally it is expected that the Basildon manager plans to leave by Xmas. The obvious choice to replace him is his assistant Tony Cross (Ex-Tilbury LEGEND) but apparently they have lined up someone by the name of Poole from Hullbridge to take over. A lot of Hullbridge players will leave along with Poole. I don't know if this is a great move or not because I am not familiar with Hullbridge and there is still the anticipated merger between Bowers and Basildon.

The truth is out there.

Mark

Onebreast, I was told something similar but I believe there is a loophole because they were not registered with the FA. Are you sure? It is a real shame if they are as I would like to see them all in a Millers shirt.

There is truth in the Mogege rumour; unbelievably, but a few weeks ago they put in approach, but the demanded fees meant it fell through.

Mackin to Barking is believable simply because his two brothers play there, and he of course played there last season.

Ricky Mackin is probably playing the best football of his career, so why would he want to leave a resurgent Romford to drop into the ESL, especially when he has an excellent chance to test himself in the Rymans Premier next season with Romford.

Nice try Mark, but once again way off the mark.

Sorry , did I read that right , Barking demanded a transfer fee ???

Mogege has an agent, hes unpaid at Barking, but to move to Enfield his agent requested expenses and 3 figure amount per week and they would only offer expenses.

It's pretty much expected that eventually Mogege will move to a league club soon enough, most likely Orient.

Seems more like he didn't want to travel to Enfield to play matches....

I heard Barking are potentially in their last season due to the fact the club cannot finance itself without a bar and dwindling home support. A lot of their better players (like Mogege) are considering leaving.

So why did you say that Ricky Mackin would leave a great club like Romford to join a team supposedly on their last legs you fool.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just to clear something up Burnham game versus Bowers was called off by officail assigned to the game to say that anything underhand took place is an insult to Shaun Pugh the Secretary of BRFC and groundsman who is as honest as the day is long.

An accusation like that Mr Hoffman shows you to be a complete fraud and trouble-maker.

I promised myself I wouldn't respond to your chirlish remarks but when you make slanderist accussations against a man who gives everything to a club he loves enough is enough.
