Yep-like many-i forgot we were pre-season relegation candidates.

 

slow steady growth is the key ,and is sustainable growth-hopefully like the club are doing off pitch.

 

Not much point in being in play-off positions because we are not ready for conf south for another season anyway.

 

That of course leaves a problem of keeping the players 'interested'.

One player who has been frustrating lately is Jamie Turner. He has been so solid in the past but just lately has been making some stupid mistakes. He makes great saves most matches, but then seems to panic sometimes when he doesn't need to. Why did he punch that ball out yesterday for the Tooting equaliser? The same was at Croydon where I believed he was responsible for two of the goals. Is it lack of confidence in his defence or what ?

But the board (and I think most supporters) never considered the bookies had the odds right given the playing budget set. So while improvement was to be welcomed and would be the first objective, expectations were somewhat higher - let's call it significant progress into the top half of the table.

Where's Matt Lamprell gone? Is he still in 1st team squad? Heard he's playing well in reserves, why do we not have a sub keeper on the bench?
