Good old Ian just called me with the score, sorry I couldn't make it today

Come on you Urchins, gonna need all the goals we can get today to improve our goal difference.

Comfortable win, we went three nil up very quickly and then seemed to lose focus. Croydon played some good passing movement in the second half without really threatening the Hornchurch goal too much. Should have been more but a good win anyway.

Happy we won,we got the job done in the first half and didn't get going second half

Full credit to Croydon, even though they knew they were beaten after the second goal they still tried to play football, with limited resources not the easiest thing to do in this league

Once again we was handed a complete bafoon for a ref

Congratulations to Hornchurch, a very good performance and some good finishing. The game was all over inside 20 mins and a few of us feared we may be in for a hiding but I think we found a bit of fight and held on for our pride. We didn't really test your keeper at all but we kept on going.

Good luck to you for the rest of the season. Having seen all Croydon's games this season I can say that you look the strongest side we have played so far so I am sure you will still be up there when we visit you later in the season (How the hell did you get a hiding at Tonbridge?)

Thank you

Individual errors cost us at Tonbridge, the game was closer than the scoreline (a trashing) suggests. We haven't looked back since that game and are a stronger side now.

I don't think Hornchurch and Tonbridge are each other's favourite teams to be honest.

We all know the issues regarding Croydon and to keep going the way you do is very creditable, and the players also deserve credit to keep trying for the whole match

I hope you come out of the other side of your problems.

Edited by cup of tea

Us v Tonbridge was like Germany v England, all their chances went in, ours didn't, that's about the size of it.

What's wrong with Tonbridge Si? I must admit I didn't like the beers at their clubhouse, but Tonbridge as a town is nice and there must be some fine ales there. Maybe there's even one named after the Dame herself. Yes, the lovely Miss Holmes.

I'm not critising the town, just the fans there think they are so much superior then us (we're apparenty cloggers etc) and they wanted to attack Elliot Styles when the teams came off last season.

Anyway I don't want to detract from the win yesterday.
