Thanks Richard, for this which i missed and your call while i was driving, i got about 15 miles down the road, had driven from Braintree to Witham and then was on my way down the A12, our physio Lloyd was already at the club on my return.

Your hosts informed your Chairman at 10 0 clock am that the game was doubtful.At 11 30 am the game was called off.Your club was told at 11 32 am is that not good enough for you? If your a supporter and have to travel its down to you to find out from your end.We dont have to tell you personally do we? leave your mobile number and we can phone you to tell you about wednesday as soon as we can and you can tell your club?

 

BGU have 3 posters on here, that could of post a message advising supporters of a possible pitch inspection. As the forecast for Wednesday is not good dont worry about letting me know if that is your attitude i wont bother going. If you wish to treat supporters like this, then i will find a Ridgeons or Ryman game. . Oh for a switch.

 

No attitude just pointing out facts! dont come no problem and a sideways move Win the League and get Promoted easy that is!

Mate, firstly it's Joe, with an e, I'm not a girl (shut it Coup), secondly, it's because you're normally such an affable chap with a good sense of humour, that it's a bit surprising to see you so irate.

 

Please don't take "some people's" dislike of Witham Town personally. From what I've seen on here, it's more aimed at Greavesy and Tony Last because of their disrespect of the ESL, following the FA's decision not to promote Witham last season.

'Favourite lino'- That's not what you were saying after he gave that ridiculous penalty on tuesday FD- glad you've kissed and made up now.

Think that WA WTFC'S being a bit unfair on BGU forum users, they might be ' no angels ' but i can't see anyone being deliberately obstructive in not giving out information to interested parties as is hinted at here (if i've read between the lines correctly).

If Witham were informed the game was off at 11:32AM it was 17 minutes earlier than players/ management of BGU who were sent a text at 11:49AM and I'm sure WA could have checked with a Witham official before travelling.

Personally if I'd have seen the post mentioned, knew the game was off and had internet access I would have replied and I'm sure all the other posters connected with BGU would have done the same. Sadly I don't have readily available internet access and as far as I know neither does Gaffa- FD always works Saturday morning and I can't comment on anyone else. In short the forum's not a reliable form of communication, if WA left without confirmation the match was on it's his look out, I sympathise but a cheap shot to blame others.

Witham complaining about being informed of games being off is rich, last season we had a game called off at 5.15pm and this season a game called off for no reason whatsoever in the middle of august at a similar time, if your club respected your support they would of told you.

What threads were they then, was it the 1 when u guys called a game off for no reason at 5.15 or when u called a game off in august but everyone else managed 2 play or was it when ur chairman and gobby fans spent 90mins crying about losing a game to then come out with the immortal line "we dont care about this cup anyway its a poxy league" . My boots have been with me all along, as long as we keep winning i couldnt care less if i score another goal for the rest of the season.

I have seen the posts saying that your club Witham Town WILL get promoted and win the league. Will have a 'substantial playing' budget due to 2 former players (gillingham player and x factor contestant) ploughing in money.

 

Your living in a dream world. You have no respect for anyone.

 

I know gaffa1, football director and TAFKAM have printed off your comments and have them on the wall in preparation for when the 2 sides meet. Well done for giving BGU more motivation to beat you.

I have great respect for Takeley new to the leageue two years ago, built a new turn style, built a fence, a covered stand seating and two standing areas covered

 

Barkingside & Mauritius are both hard working clubs with great facilities. Congrats Barkingside in your Gordon Brasted win over the cocky ones.

 

Bowers & Pitsea &; Burnham have two of the best grounds in the esl with great clubhouses.

Enfield have a loyal fan base even though they have dropped from Conference to ESL

Southend Manor & Sawbo have worked hard to bring their stadium upto a good standard.

 

If you guys want to take the pressure off you and pump it on us, shows how worried you must be.

That isn't Gaffa u moron, and the Ryman league clamped down on teams getting promotion without winning ANYTHING fact is with ur wonderful sports arena and big budget ur still 1 of 5 potential title challengers so I'd get of my perch. In football good football and trophies are the only things that earn respect Witham play long ball and win nothing, unlike the double cup winners Bethnal Green United which is y far more clubs in this league respect us than they do u.

Got time for : Barking / Barkingside / Basildon / Bowers / Burnham / Enfield 1893  / Eton Manor / Mauritius / Sawbo / Southend Manor  / Takeley.

 

That is eleven teams i would never criticise for their facilities for supporters from the 16 esl clubs we visit.

 

I think everyone would agree with the following four. (that is not disrespectful but fact)

 

Apsa need a turnstyle but kind enough to us.

Clapton are good people but need to do work on their ground.

 

The folllowing two are banter between the clubs on here but,

 

Understand from Neverbeen that Stansted have in hand a way to fence behind the goal and the sides, as stated by him on the Witham forum. That is all they require as have a CLUBHOUSE.

 

Hullbridge have built a main stand, but still need to fence in their grouhnd as open for all to see in.

Plant some trees to save cost?

 

BGU dont have a clubhouse or  even a porta cabin like Takeley, it is the only ground in the esl where you cant get a drink or any food, even though Takfam provoked this i will stay level headed. i HAVE BEEN TO OLYMPIAN GROUNDS LIKE SPRINGFIELD WHERE YOU CAN GET A PINT OR A TEA.

 

I could say alot more. I have so much respect for what Takeley have achieved off the pitch and i made a point of telling their people.

 

Will always priaise people who try.

Now twist all that BGU by inventing more log ins..

You have really took this way to far now slagging us of about we aint got this we aint got that, like you said we aint got no club house etc, well we don’t have the finance your club has we don’t have a pot to piss in but what we have and your team will never have is a family atmosphere and friends and family wanting to help and play for each other and I will take that over, over paid long ball merchants that only play for your team for a pound note, lets face it who would play for free for a team that there members and staff think they are better then all ESL teams and think the league cup is a micky mouse and no better den watching the reserves, BIG DISRESPECT for the league that is and where have we ever said we will win the double what I will say is that I go out and my team to win every match, cause that’s what you do you don’t disrespect the opposition or the competition like you big time Charles.

 

 

 

And I personal called your chairmen to inform him the game was of @ 11.30 before I informed my own players and management team.

 

 

Also I cant log on this forum on weekends cause I don’t know my password and it automatically logs me on @ work, I would never hide behind a forum name, the important people on here all no GAFFA1 is me justin manager of BGU so please go and crawl back in that hole you came from cause you are making this personal and it should only be about football, I wont lie I hope anyone apart from your club wins this league and that’s because after we beat you 1.0 in the so called MICKY MOUSE cup @ your place your Committee members run onto the pitch and 1 particular important man who puts his money into your club said why you jumping up and down its only a POXY CUP we got more important things like winning the league, in witch I said sorry I forgot your too good for this league.

 

 

fact your club has money we don’t have nothing if you want to offer some money so I can improve the club or even give the players petrol money then please do you no what it hurts clubs like yours spending a fortune to get out of the ESL and we don’t spend and penny and are up there with you lot and you would love to have some of are players.

 

 

 

And if im not mistaken success should be judged on the pitch not how pretty or great your club house looks, maybe if you started to priorities and win something on the pitch instead of trying to win ground or most money wasted on wages in 2 season to get out of the ESL.
