It will be the same old problem.

 

If it's sunny until K.O. the parts of the pitch in the sun will be OK but the bits in the shade will be frozen.

 

Certainly at 11am the whole pitch will be un-playable.

 

Odds on to be called off and Tuesday looks even less likely to be on.

Its probably the best thing that could have happened. The Arlesey manager rested 8 out of the 10 outfield players who started their last league game and subbed another during their match last Tuesday. They would have started with a fresh,rested team unlike ourselves So probably best to meet them later

lets hope that when the new ground eventually comes into being that the management have the fore sight to build in a pitch protection system at the beginning , yes i know that it will be expensive but not as expensive as lost games, wether it is a heated system (expensive to buy and to run/maintain) or just a system of covers , newbury race course had their racing meeting today and it was far colder there over night than beaconsfield and they just put covers down so surly we can do somthing?

There is already provision in the ground plans to have an under pitch warm air system powered by the hot air generated on this forum!
