Steve, we went to Met Police a couple of seasons back for a friendly. It has an excellent bar.

On the subject of bars Laz, I used to like the bar at Wokingham, that was done up in the last few seasons, don't think they're at that ground anymore. Carshalton used to have a big old bar until the very ACCIDENTAL fire that is, still quite decent though.

Last time I went to Wokingham was some years ago. I don't remember the bar. The new Carlshalton bar is small but at least they let you take plastics into the ground. Quite civilised.

You guys would have loved East Thurrock United, (we lost terribly there but that's another tale of woe) they burger bar served cans of beer, by underaged girls, fantastic, the only highlight of that day!

Oh well I don't feel so bad about it now and yes it was a very Essex club, damn this league and our inability in general, still beating Chalfont 6-0 last weekend was some light relief, Sippets got a hatrick, though I am not totally convinced by him yet, looks a little light weight against the physical sides...
