Looks like a certain Mr Nathan Miles has joined Warlingham as predicted but denied by all !

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/warlingham/news/miles-and-brunt-in-the-wars-215993.html

you know what they say about smoke and fire.

Its actually good news for Warlingham and i would say that with Brunt and Miles in the team, Warlingham have to now be serious contenders for the league!

Well done Tucks!

May aswel try and clear this up before anymore 'apparent mr faithful' comments etc...

JJ was right in what he wrote a week or so ago, stating that I have bought a flat about 5 mintues from the Whyteleafe/Warlingham ground and I have joined Warlingham. It wasnt an easy decison, as I had been at Knaphill for nearly 3 years and got on very well with everyone there, Bob Pritchard, Dave Freeman and Terry Chapman and spoke to all of them before making my decision. Truth is, for where I am moving, it would have made getting to training nearly impossible, joined with the fact that I work in Central London. All 3, the Manager, GM and Chariman, agreed that unfortunately, there was no real way around it, as training for me over the next couple of months is going to be vital, as ive only just started again after 4 months out.

I personally want to thank everyone at Knaphill, the players, the chairman and of course Bob, for my time there and was even lucky enough to be able to captain the side for 1.5 years, which included the infamous run that we had at the end of last season. Things may not be going well for Knaphill on the pitch at the moment, but I know both Terry and Dave have worked very hard off the ptich in securing the lights and the stand, which will now be going in next month and make Knaphill a fantastic place to play.

That being said, I have now signed for Warlingham having spoken to Tucks on a few occasions and very much look forward to working towards a possible promotion for the club and maybe even a cup run too. Warlingham have had a solid start to the season and defensively have the best record in the league, so as a centre back, I appreciate being given the chance by Tucks, at this stage of the season, to get invovled with the club.

NG....circumstances change but my opinion of Knaphill hasnt. They are still a club with a lot people that I respect and will stay in contact with, but unfortunately wont be able to play for anymore.
