Another fine Capital League win.

 

Despite some good passing football the first half was not very eventful. Andy Findlay fired a shot wide from 18 yards on 20 minutes and a move consisting of about 20 passes finished with a Nick Lowery header going wide 5 minutes later. At the other end Michael Collier had to push the ball over the bar from a Jason Haniff header.

 

Bishop's Stortford started the half well with Martin Hayes finishing a good run with a long range effort going just wide. We took the lead on 13 minutes through Craig Cripps who accepted a pass in the 'D', spun and hit the ball over keeper Ken Addai and in. Our second goal came with about 7 minutes to go. A Tony Fields header goalwards from a corner was blocked on the line but it fell nicely for Chris Moore who fired into the roof of the net. The goals are on the website if you're interested.
