At the begining of the second half the ref could not continue. Half way thru the second half one of the linesmen can not continue.

 

Do the officals have pre-season training ?

Do they warm up properly?

 

And we had the worst replacement lino's u have ever seen

The "worst replacement" officials are devoted Enfield Town supporters who have done an enormous amount of work to get the club up and running. They deserve massive respect for everything they have done.

 

They weren't the best officials ever - so what? Had they not stepped in when they were needed, then the match would not have been able to continue. I feel they should be commended for having the confidence and bravery to help referee a game in front of over 200 supporters, when they should've only been watching the game.

 

I am grateful, because if it wasn't for them then we would've all gone home early and missed that wondergoal (but that's another story <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)

One of the stand-ins just out of hospital himself was less fit than the man he stood in for. Nevermind we got the 3 points inspite of the stand-ins.

 

I thought Mr Bootie did well until he went off injured and the assistant who stepped into the refs role did well also.

It's just sometimes quite difficult to understand the joke when you read it in text, as opposed to being told it verbally.
