Not sure where to start but here goes.

What a great bunch of guy's,AFC Hornchurch should be very proud of their travelling supporters, only one let you down? using a excuse for spilling his lager :492:"someone bump into me":97: we have all heard that one before have we not ,but I understand someone took a photo of him holding a tea towel that's a first I bet needless to say one of the biddy chaps came to his aid and mop up, well EU was looking rather tired by this time.

We did managed to help him upstairs to see the Liverpool game but then who should enter the bar Mrs EU "Time to go was the request"this was repeated again and slowly the shrunken violet obeyed and to a standing ovation left .I was told generally when EU's out without his Isla he is the boss (she has given "look at the Gooner" permission to say this ).

Seriously I think you have a caring and considerate Supporters Chairman in Rob ,I wish you well and hope to have the real pleasure of meeting the Urchins again someday.

As I have said your club and team should be proud of you ,you are a credit and a pleasure to be with plenty of banter and no ill feelings at all, on the day you were stronger and the better team, best of luck against Ashford and in the league .

My partners parents ran the Hartland Quay Hotel between the wars! A spectacular place indeed!

I am really pleased to have gone and to have met you all. What a great set of people you all are down there.

Regardless of the result, the friendship and kindness you showed towards us was a credit to your football club.

I sincerely hope we get the opportunity to play you again.

P.S. Can we nick your floodlights.

I was only there for around 30 minutes,I knew Cornwall had some spectacular coastline but I didn't know Devon was just as dramatic, the cliffs were amazing and when the sun came out the view along the coast was superb

Steve, are there any choughs around that area or are they still mainly confined to Cornwall and Wales, also I had a bird far out to see which literally dive bombed into the water,I only saw it for a second as it hit the water but it looked smaller than a cormorant and seemed silver like but this could of been black & White(probably) such wasthe speed

Ps do you have any way of keeping in contact with you with regards to your records on the cape etc???

My first league game was seeing Orient draw 2-2 with Lincoln City, I think 1956. Saw two more games, they lost to Fulham who had Johnny Haynes, Tosh Chamberlain and Bedford Jezzard in the team. S'why I have a soft spot for the Cottagers.

Michael can you confirm these fixtures?

But luckily I grew out of Brisbane Road and saw my first spurs match on August 24th 1957 and was circumsised the following Saturday.

I reckon you're after the Freedom of Hornchurch John. That gives you the "droit de seigneur" of the best looking sheep you can find in Hornchurch town centre on a Saturday night
