STFC Online Club Shop - LAUNCHED!

Slough Town FC have today launched their online club shop.

Our thanks go to Tom Gathern and Sue Shiel for all their work in conducting all the preparation to get this setup for the club ahead of the Christmas schedule.

I have just visited and it is really professionally done, well done.

 

Could we now expand what is for sale in the club shop, i.e. have more merchandise available online, this way it would only need to be purchased if an order is received. We would not be able to take advantage of bulk buying but we could strike a deal with suppliers im sure.

Theoretically we could have an infinite amount of products, but don't forget we have to stock them in Sue's club house too. If we moved and Sue had a larger premises then we could expand the shop to hold more. It's not really fair to offer products purely online as our main customer base is still those that come to games. We have quite a few requests from people who have moved away or can't make games which is really what the online shop is catering for.

 

Having chatted to our programme editor we may offer programmes to buy online too.

Yeah agree that we would have to also stock it but you could have it online first as to save costs and then if the product is successful Sue could stock it?

Yes but then I might have to buy a bigger house Mark!! Good idea for the future though.

Sue - does this online site sell those products that I get e-mails about for bigger and better performance? not that I need them, he adds quickly! or is that your other site?
