It is late VP. Bumped into an old friend today who needs 2 new knees !!!!

I have no idea what you're talking about. You've been married too long. You're beginning to speak like a woman - in riddles.

Cobham 2-0 Hayes Gate (Anderson, Rideout)

Wasn't there but from what i've been told good solid win. Rarely troubled by Hayes gate and could have been more than two goals. Rideout now top league scorer with 13 and many more in the diffferent cups and hasn't failed to score in 9 or so games. The boy is on fire.

Farnham 1-1 South Park

With the pitch in no state for pretty football it was going to be a battle, 1st half ended goaless but both teams had chances, Farnham could of scored in the first minute but for a good save from our keeper and Park missed 3 one on ones which looking back cost us the 3 points. 2nd half was all Park, but it was Farnham who scored first, a deflected free kick was turned into his own net by Guscott. This kicked Park into action and equalised soon after with some quality build up play ending with a Stone diving header. Park thought they had nicked it in the final minutes, but was ruled out for a very dubious offside.

Dorking 1-7 Molesey

Not an exaggeration to say Molesey could have had twelve. Looked like scoring every time they went forward against a largely non-existant Chicks defence. McBride made some smart stops and once again got on the scoresheet, converting a second half penalty given for handball against a Moles defender. Well done to Molesey who are going to be having a say in this title race. Not sure where Chicks go from here.

Highlights later, but in the meantime if you missed Westfield v Sheerwater on another thread here it is:

GREAT FOOTAGE AS USUAL TRS

GOALS GALORE YESTERDAY!

WAS GOING TO WATCH JJ'S COVE YESTERDAY AT THE MOTASIDE AGAINST E & E BUT IS WAS POSTPONED SO WENT TO SEE CAMBERLEY COMFORTABLY BEAT CROYDON YESTERDAY.

SO TRS, WHAT MAKES YOU SAY THAT MOLESEY WILL HAVE A SAY IN THE TITLE RACE ? YOU HAVING WATCHED THEM YESTERDAY, IN YOUR OPINION COULD THEY BE TITLE CONTENDERS ALONG WITH THE LIKES OF GUILDFORD, CHERTSEY, CAMBERLEY, SANDHURST ETC., ?

KNOW ONE THING, NEXT WEEK I GOING TO VISIT MY PALS, THE MOLESEY SUPPORTERS (TAKING MY EAR-MUFFS STANDING NEXT TO THEM) TO SEE THEM AGAINST CHERTSEY SURELY THE MATCH OF THE DAY ! I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE, THEY ARE NICE PEOPLE, NICE CLUBHOUSE, CHEAP BEER AND VERY NICE GRUB TOO !

TRS, YOU GOING TO WATCH AND FILM THE GAME ?

Also watched Camberley beat a below par croydon!

3-0 at half time was a bit harsh on croydon as it was very much an even game 1st half.

2nd half was all Camberley and the defending was pretty poor from Croydon.

If only id known about Nice Guy, we could have met!

First time i've seen Molesey this season and it's difficult to judge against Chicks at the minute, but I was impressed with they way they played as a team and managed to play decent football on a difficult pitch. Also looking at the run they are on and the recent win at Badshot Lea shows they will be up there. Next Saturday will be very interesting, although sadly I won't be there to see it. Guildford at Camberley too and with Sandhurst facing Chicks at Meadowbank, it will be interesting to see how the table looks come 5pm next Saturday.

JJ, YES SORRY IT'S A SHAME WE NEVER MET UP, I DIDN'T SEE YOU, PERHAPS I WAS LOOKING UP TOO HIGH OR NOT LOW ENOUGH ....LOL ! NO PROBLEM THO' I WILL BE WATCHING COVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE I'M SURE.

CAN'T BELIEVE YESTERDAY'S GAME WAS CALLED OFF AGAINST E & E I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. I HEAR IT WAS A DISGRACEFUL DECISION BY THE REF. YOU ARE RIGHT, MANY PEOPLE DROVE TO THE MATCH (ME INCLUDED) ONLY TO BE TOLD IT'S OFF. IF THERE WAS ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE GAME BEING CALLED OFF, THERE SHOULD AT LEAST BEEN AS EARLIER PITCH INSPECTION TO AVOID ALL THE UNNECESSARY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED TO ALL CONCERNED.

OKAY THAT'S A FAIR COMMENT TRS. HAVE TO ADMIT AND STATED ON PREVIOUS THREADS, WHEN I'VE WATCHED MOLESEY, I THINK THEY ARE ONE OF THE BETTER FOOTBALLING SIDES IN THE LEAGUE WITH SOME YOUNG TALENTED PLAYERS. OH YES, YOU'RE RIGHT, I FORGOT ABOUT THE CAMBERLEY & GUILDFORD GAME SO THERE'S 2 'MATCHES OF THE DAY' AS YOU SAY, COULD MAKE INTERESTING READING COME 5PM NEXT SATURDAY !

AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GAME, IF IT'S ANYTHING LIKE LAST SEASON, I RECALL THE GAME BETWEEN 2 VERY GOOD SIDES WAS TOO BIG FOR THE YOUNG REF. BEING A HEATED LOCAL DERBY. HE WAS BEING HOUNDED BY THE LARGE CROWD FOR ALMOST EVERY DECISION HE MADE..........POOR BLOKE I DID FEEL SORRY FOR HIM. HOPE THE REF. SECRETARY SELECTS A STRONG REF NEXT WEEK !

Was sitting bottom seats of the stand so prob didnt see me behind the wall ! Hope you can make the charity match at Cove on 5th Dec.

There was no need for an inspection early! The pitch was fine!

I notice Dorkings game went ahead. By the looks of TRS's video, they sanded the 6 yard box! Why couldnt they have done that at Merstham?? ..................... Cos Merstham wanted the game off!

Spot on report Krooner

would ask as you though as you was on that side of the pitch.... was it handball?

Congrats to CWU :)

Went to Chertsey for a change of scenery. Ash shaded first 20 minutes and probably should have taken the lead. Chertsey had 2 good chances before half time one of them folied by a good save from the Ash keeper. Even at half time was about right. 2nd half was different as Chertsey dominated. Ash keeper made a worldy five minutes in and Ash continued to frustrate Chertsey. Ash missed a really good chance trhough ex Krooner Thripp before having a penalty appeal waved away. Moody won it with a header from a great cross with 11 to go. If anyone deserved to win it was Chertsey but great credit to Ash who defended superbly and on another day may have nicked the win.
