Very tight game which could have gone either way but a late Marcus moody header on his 100th appearance for Chertsey settled matters in a very dull game on a very sluggish pitch!

After a dire first half (which nearly led me to go home to the warm) Feltham picked their first win up for a number of weeks in a solid second half! They took the lead with an excellent set piece. CB drew level within five minute following a goalkeeping error, but this was to be forgotten with fifteen minutes remaining the Feltham forward came off the bench to score a looping 20 yard strike over the keeper and into the top corner!

Not an exaggeration to say Molesey could have had twelve. Looked like scoring every time they went forward against a largely non-existant Chicks defence. McBride made some smart stops and once again got on the scoresheet, converting a second half penalty given for handball against a Moles defender. Well done to Molesey who are going to be having a say in this title race. Not sure where Chicks go from here.

Went to Chertsey for a change of scenery. Ash shaded first 20 minutes and probably should have taken the lead. Chertsey had 2 good chances before half time one of them folied by a good save from the Ash keeper. Even at half time was about right. 2nd half was different as Chertsey dominated. Ash keeper made a worldy five minutes in and Ash continued to frustrate Chertsey. Ash missed a really good chance trhough ex Krooner Thripp before having a penalty appeal waved away. Moody won it with a header from a great cross with 11 to go. If anyone deserved to win it was Chertsey but great credit to Ash who defended superbly and on another day may have nicked the win.

A performance thats took us 3 months to produce, a performance that we all knew we could produce! Hartley couldnt deal with our energy and we were always on the front foot! We went 3-0 up threw richie 2, and a great goal match of the day would show, dean greenwood hits a long ball over the full back with me to latch on to it and whip it first time to find ryan curtis left foot! Hartley got 1 back but it was too late! Season starts now!! Up the lanmas! Im in buzzville!!!!

Warlingham 5-0 Farnboro North End

 

After two disappointing cup results wars got back to business in the league this week and earned a massive 3 points with other teams dropping points around them. Wars dominated from start to finish and 5-0 was a fair reflextion of the game. 2-0 up at half time Brunty pops up with his first for the club to make it 3-0 followed by 2 more second half goals. Very good display and hard work paid off.I thought Farnboro to be fair wasnt a bad side and the big guy up top didnt help them with his constant moaning at team mates.Sheerwater next week in cup so another week we miss another league fixture, just hope we have a good winter weather wise and we dont get a back log of fixtures through the next couple months
