five different people told me it was off including a match official, and players so assumed that they had been given permission to postpone match,obviously my mistake for which i apologise.

We hadnt heard anything until this morning though which seems strange if it was called off yesterday.

well i assume it looked very unlikely to go ahead but wasnt officially postponed till this morning therefore i shouldnt have posted until it was officially announced.

To be fair mate if a match official had told you then it was pretty much nailed on it was going to be off.

That's the point of the forum to let people know that it might be off if you hear something.
