Hi, I am Mark. A follower of various non league football teams within a certain area. From the "dulldrums" of Bowers and Pitsea to the "glamour" of Dagenham and Redbridge. I watch Romford, Aveley, AFC Hornchurch, Tilbury, Grays, Canvey Island, Concord et al. I basically just choose the "juciest" game. Last season with Aveley doing so well under SIR STRINGER I followed them somewhat closer then the others. I hear today Mr Kimble and his brother have been removed from their post at Aveley because they are joining an Essex Senior team - Burnham Ramblers. I was told an old friend of theirs manages there. Surely you would not abandon a Ryman team for such a drop? I wondered if anyone on here has any information? Are Burnham R a "money" club?

Two people who will be able to help you are "Millerman" (official at Aveley) & "Son of Reg", supporter. Both good blokes.

You will find them both on ..... Ryman forum.

Firstly, this is only a rumour as you state. Secondly, Garry Kimble is a friend of the management team at Burnham and finally Burnham Ramblers is not 'a money club' as you ask

Be interesting to know who you really are Mr Hoffman - as this is your first post and you are slandering the names of both Alan & Garry Kimble plus that of Burnham Ramblers

If you was a supporter of local football as you say you are I'd have thought you'd appreciate how dangerous these rumours can be and kept quiet

I wonder what you did to deserve that?

Loved my trip to B&P last season, your stewards chanting at one end and us at the other.

The only game in the esl last year where we had a bit of banter going. Looking forward to returning this season Joe.

So what bit did he get wrong then?

Didn't say he was wrong, still a c0ck though!!! You're an argumentative, chilled wine swilling old fart. doesn't mean you like being reminded of it though does it?

Cheers Mark.

Crikey I didn't expect such a response, I was only seeking a bit of "inside" knowledge. I guess I have a responsibility to reply to the points raised.

Firstly, thanks to WA WTFC. I appreciate the information and the fact you re-posted on another message board seeking information.

Secondly to Mr Sorry AKA Mr Grumpy. It appears I have stirred up some upset with you for which I apologise. If you re-read my original post you will see it is in no way slanderous it is just (as I previously stated in big letters) a rumour. I actually semi-know the Burnham manager (I say semi-know but I mean I know who he is as I used to watch him play with my mate John). Once you realise your mistake I am sure you will be big enough to apologise.

Hookey you are just plain rude. I was not meaning to be detrimental about Bowers and Pitsea, my "doldrums" reference (have I spelt that ok for you BUFC?) was merely in relation to the level of football they play.

Anyway I assume the rumour is false as it turns out Mr Kimble was sacked rather than chose to leave. I assume the current Romford manager is getting the Aveley job leaving the Romford job available. I have some theories as to who Romford would look to employ but I will keep a lid on those to avoid "slander".

Carl Griffiths got the Aveley job, not the Romford manager, who I believe every Romford supporter would agree is the best thing since sliced bread. Perhaps a little research next time you post wouldn't go amiss.

I think Carl has just taken over until the end of the season because the Romford manager wanted to concentrate on a promotion push with Romford. I heard he will definitely be Aveley manager come pre-season.

The spelling makes a massive difference. It looked like you were making a reference to the football club, as opposed to the level of football.

Also, I'm not convinced it was a typo, as you spelt it with two Ls, whereas a typo would simply have been a U for an O. Methinks you are doing the backstroke!!!!
