Ron Merlin , why do you claim you are some kind of literary genius . A man does not have to use proper english to get his point across. The way i see it is you lost 4-1 to Basildon. 4-1 is a thrashing ,is it not ? Clearly your departures of last year have not been suitably replaced . Basildon, Concord and Ilford have got the finances and facilities to realistically challenge for a Ryman league spot. Unfortunately yoy have missed the boat. Your ground might get the Ryman grading but if the team carry on performing as they have done then you ill be in the ESL for the rest of your days. So why dont you take that big chip off your shoulder and admit that you got stuffed 4-1 by a better side. say it to yourself " 4 - 1 " , its not even close is it ??? Great perfomance i see against a pub side like Hullbridge . Your defence is as leaky as the titanic

Have Basildon attracted more than 50 spectators for a home game this season....That's PAYING spectators not hangers-on,wannabbes,and league officials ..etc..

 

Basildon,Ilford ,concord......all have finances ,don't make me laugh.....It's certainly not from gate receits....If you add up all three of their last home attendences,it wouldn't come anywhere near Enfield Towns...Town have over 100 season ticket holders,the only time another team reaches three figures,is when we come to play them.
