Not CCL but

Woking FC 2-2 Brighton (0-3 to Brighton on pens)

for those who saw it. THAT is how a football club can punch so far above its weight in football. Proud to be Woking. Proud to be red and white

Westfield 1-3 Chessington

Decent performance from us in the first half where we played some great stuff and kept the ball well. Unfortunatley switched of at the back and were punished 4 mins before the break to go 1 down against the run of play. Chessington much better second half and got 2 quick goals as we pushed forward 10 minutes from the end. We got a late consolation back, C&H very lively upfront but if we keep playng like that i'm sure were move up the table

Surrey Premier Cup - Sutton United Reserves 1-0 Colliers Wood United Reserves

Very enjoyable and we were unlucky not to get extra time at least!

Some good players in our reserve/youth squad!

I thought you gave us a decent test early on you were full of running and closed us down quickly which led to an even 1st half, the only time you did switch off we scored. 2nd half there was more room as the tempo slowed and we gradually began to control the game that said it should have been 1-1 seconds before we got the 2nd goal to kill the game. Put that effort in all season and you wont do bad. Thanks to the club for the hospitality and good luck for the rest of the season.

Pretty much spot on with the report from Tuesday, when the game could really have gone either way and hinged on several defining moments. It is true to say that the first goal was a real cracker and is his first of the season, plus is going to a hard one to replicate. In fact, he tried it a couple of times in training last night and had limited success. Our centre half should have really scored a couple more and, ironically, it was his first goal of the season. He can probably cite lack of match practice as he is unable to play Saturdays so is limited to only midweek at the moment. Shame, as he is a threat going forward - or should be! - and a decent defender. Warlingham were a really good side and it shows that Division 1 must be very strong this year, as they are by no means the only side with a chance to win that league, and we could not have complained if the result had gone their way. Still, Guildford in the next round at home, so we hope to get the rub of the green again that night. Once again we had two sides trying their best to win the game and not say the cup is not important - Tucks kept the same side that payed Saturday, bar one, and we went strong too. Hate it when teams enter cups and then choose to treat them as meaningless, and it was clearly evident on Tuesday night that we both had every intention of wiining the tie. Best of luck to Warlingham for the rest of the season.
