HORNCHURCH CONVOY

Eastside Urchin

Recommended Posts

I am taking the M25 north onto the M4 all the way to the M5 then south for an hour or so ontothe A361 to Barnstaple, onto the A39 into bideford

If I was travelling an hour or so later I may think about trees route but it is a route that is better in the summer as the motorways get clogged silly, this time of year it will be just crashes that cause problems not volume of traffic

There are various roadworks on the m25/m4/m5 but the highways agency are saying that they are only problematic at peak periods, saturday morning is usually pretty quiet roadwise.

especially on the M25 at half 6 in the morning.

The M4 has a few roadworks going west but these mainly appear to be on slip roads coming off the motorway, and again will not be a problem unless there is a crash in between the roadworks,M5 is the same but looks pretty quiet on the stretch we need to go on.

If anything does turn up on the motorway and we hear about it in time we will have enough time to take a detour

Problem with driving is you can never trust the roads but the motorway option

on a Saturday is the best especially early on,personally I don't see too much benefit of the A303 which has large stretches of single carriageway which if you get a crash on you can get stuck for hours,at least with a motorway unless it's a severe crash you can usually get past it or at least you get warned in advance

If Mr P Rivers can take time out from his day job in Southern Cal, he'll be training it down with Derek and Ian and getting the coach back with them, so no for me R.

I might let you have a Betty Stogs though.
