And I think their supporters on their forum have been similarly positive with their comments about the match. Then again, Sutton and their fans do seem to keep a sensible perspective on things so fair play to them.

I agree "Steve". As they came into the ground, I sold a lot of Meat raffle/Super draw tickets to them. When time allowed I had some good well balanced (Well balanced! The missus will laugh at that) conversations, better than the friction filled grunts you get from some away support. Pleasure to sell to you Sutton guys and gal's.

 

Also it was nice home supporters I had not seen for a while. We need results like this to keep them coming back, to allow the club to build on the squad and to see us progress.

 

We have stayed down here to long time to move on.

There certainly seems to be different classes of fans around.

Compare yesterdays Sutton fans to the Dover ones who apparently started leaving with 20 mins to go when they were losing to Dartford on Tuesday, just days after winning at Gillingham!

Big club who have a record to match and higher standards than a lot of clubs. I always buy a programme there too. Top quality.

Clearly they are a better team than Kingstonian (who rely too much on a handful of individuals). They will be promoted.

I agree, their fans were fantastic, their forum has been all positive towards us and the fans and manager are very gracious in defeat..I really hope they win the league (well obviously I want margate too - but you know where I'm coming from)
