Letters of support

If the Council are canvassing opinions and seeking feedback already then now is the time to start sending letters of support to britwellscheme@slough.gov.uk

That is ture, but what is there to say?

Say that you think the regeneration of Britwell incorporating a site for Slough Town Football Club is a positive step. It doesn't have to be much but let's get some positive comments in early.

[Nathan]

You are absolutly right. It is the perfect place for us to settle. As i said before, there is open space and good transport.

 

And i mean that, i wasn't being sarcastic.

I sent an e-mail earlier and have already had a response "thanking me for my comments which were very welcome". So let's get e-mailing straight away and let's get some early positive feedback in.

Do you think, in the long run, that this will work?

[Ian]

The proposal for the Sikh School was backed, of those who responded, by 96% of Slough residents and 94% of non Slough residents. It was supported by 100% of both Sikh and Muslim faiths and 60% of school staff.

 

My point is if we are to succeed in securing a new ground on this site or any other it will mean persuading a much greater number of people to support us than the 20 or so who bothered to turn up outside the Town Hall earlier this year.

 

Sorry if that sounds like an aggressive response but if WE don't believe we can do it, then how on earth will we ever convince anyone else to support us?
