There is now another unofficial Slough Town website.

The website is still in its infancy but it is being added to all the time and aims to be a first class STFC website.

You will find the link below. I would appreciate any feedback or comments about the site so that I can improve it further.

Nice-looking layout, and the tour of Kennedy Park is interesting. (But surely you have photos of the Trading Estate power station, rather than the Mars factory, which is further west?)

I am sure that if you asked them very nicely, Chris/Gary would add your site as a sidebar link from the Official site...

...and maybe at the same time they could remove the links to the "Parklife Website" and "sloughtownfc.cjb.net" - both of which seem to have become rather dormant now (lots of broken links and old news).

Hmm. Okay, that's my fault - I don't know the trading estate that well

As for the Parklife and "cjb" sites, we'll keep an eye on them and see if they are ever resurrected and make a decision then.

Thanks for the comments though. We've already e-mailed Chris and Gary to ask for a link. It's just a case of "wait and see" now.

I've had a quick browse around the rest of your site, and it all looks very impressive. Some very interesting features, so I must remember to re-visit occasionally.

Not sure we need a second message board though - I spend most of my lunchbreak trying to catch up with this one!

Believe me, it's something that you will find useful if ever this one is down.

Also, I personally can't stand this type of forum which doesn't allow threadded messages. If you reply to something on here, it just jumps to the bottom of the thread, irrespective of what you were replying to.

Maybe...

No, I'm working on it now, but Chris is the main man for the design of the button things we use. I can do it, but it would look bad in comparison to Chris's fine work!

I'm sure when he has the chance it will be added in due course... It's a mighty fine site and fully deserves it's link!

Nathan and Paul

As I have said in an e-mail to Nathan, congrats on the site, I am well impressed (I wont repeat myself too much from the e-mail). Regarding my site sloughtownfc.cjb.net, it has become dormant as of late (I actually haven't updated it in ages)... the main reason for this is I don't have time anymore unfortunately. Maintaining a decent site takes a lot of time and know-how, neither of which I really have a lot of. The site started off as a bit of a hobby, took off a little bit, then gradually died as the updates became more few and far between. I'd love to resurrect the site but we'll have to see. If I do, I'll let you all know. And as for removing the link from the STFC official site, that may be a good idea as neither mine or the Parklife one are regularly updated, and might make the whole thing look more professional if three decent STFC sites are represented. It may also spur me on to get my name back up there one day!

Anyway, congrats and good luck with the site.
