Harvey Grammar v Ursuline "B"

We pulled into the wrong area on arriving at the folkestone school, we couldn't see are way to the playing Field. Phil Fennel was about to get out of the mini bus when, one of the Harvey masters came out of the admin block. It was former Margate player Andy Allon, who made 153 +1 appearances, scoring 10 goals for the Blues between the 1991/92 season and the 1994/95 Season ( Thanks Jeff Trice's wwwmargatefchistory.co.uk).

The game was played on a 2/3 size pitch, which was suffering from the rain of the previous few days. Ursuline found it difficult to come to terms with the size, going into the break 1-0 down.

Second half, saw Phil Fennel sort things out and he made changes to the on field personnel.

Ursuline took control of proceedings, playing the best football i have seen this season from the youngsters, using every limited inch of the pitch. Long passes at ground level to feet, short one, two's. Brilliant.

Goals started to flow, and at the final whistle the lads ran out 2-10 winners.

Goals by: Reece Blaize 3, Andy Lucas 1, Ziggy (pardon the spelling Ziggy) Lagerdien 1, Nicky Mott 1, Darryl (again pardon the spelling) Netch 1, Lewis Thorn 1, own goal. The last I will post when I get clarification later today.
