i doubt any guildford supporters on here are from Guildford either. Most of them are tax dodgers spunking from the government by pretending to enhance their education by going to University and running up thousands of pounds of debt and then not being able to find a job that matches their qualifications!

Guildford City Players are mostly Croydon Area based,and a very close knit bunch on and off the pitch.Kevin Rayner the Manager is also Croydon Area based,what many people have missed is that the Players (many of)have recent experience at a higher level than C.C.L.Camara (Torquay)Rayner (Carshalton,Tonbridge Angels)G.Tydeman(Croydon Athletic,Whyteleafe)Hall( Croydon Athletic,Walton and Hersham)Greaves,Hughes,Gibbs, (Whyteleafe)and play and have fun as a Team.

But can they get promoted Smudge, and if not will they stay together?

 

Would be a shame if no team made it out of the CCL to step 4 next season

Agreed G.F.,Would be a Big Shame if No Team got promoted,but I put this to Mr.Kevin Rayner at the Dorking game over a Beer he kindly bought me,he stated things were in motion regards the Ground grading,and he did not see a problem.Worcester Park do it every year though in Div 1,not seen any remarks about them on this site,denying Clubs promotion.Still whenever I ask Questions on this site of the Hierachy,I never get an answer.Groundsharing is my big worry,say Badshot Lea win the Title,and Corinthian Casuals finish in a Relegation place,will the powers that be at Ryman promote a Groundsharing Team over a Team that they have saved many times from Relegation in the past,or move the Goalposts BEWARE.

I think any Ryman South position would probably get filled with the top team from the Kent League - other Step 4 leagues don't appear to have the same issues with Ground Share.

 

Looking at the Spectrum they can't have a huge amount of work to do for a "D" grading - the ground capacity needs increasing by 300 or so plus they probably need extra turnstiles. Not sure if their "Clubhouse" passes the grade but good luck to them if they're going to spend their own money to improve Council facilities.

Agreed again G.F. Kent League smelt the Coffee years ago,if it is ok for Ryman Clubs to Groundshare i.e KINGSTONIAN and HENDON big names from a bygone era,why not everyone else.

Spot on - Play has to be visible from at least 3 sides

 

Ground Grading - Step 4

 

 

That'll take some work / planning permission etc - can't see it happening really

re-guarding last night. Guildford totally deserved their win. Bit of luck went there way also with the first two goals & from that point never looked back. However the thing thats really annoyed me all day it the awful play acting throughout the game, which the referee totally fell for. The first sending off was not about the 2nd yellow card but the first. Referee give it for supposed fouls, most of them was a player going down like he had be poleaxed. 2nd sending off no problems as that the law. However the play acting could not have been any worse when a player went down in the box rolling all over the place like he had a very bad injury, even tho the ref didnt fall for it (this time), he was back up within seconds of sprinting away to collect the ball on the edge off the box, then as the ball went out was laughing all over his face. That to me sounds like they have no respect for opponents or the officials & if they have to lower themselves to this its not good for football.

 

They don't need to do all the play acting a p** taking as when they did play football they looked a very good side
