Before the game would have taken a point. However, when you go 1-0 up in the 8th minute and it could have been more before half time you feel dsapointed with only the point.

 

But on reflection this was awell earned point by all the players tonight but I will single out 1 player who should receive the praise that is not coming his way.

 

Laurence Ball immense again tonight and held the performance together. To think of the disadvantages he has had to overcome so far in his young life. Not only is he proud to be a cottager but he spent his early career at Deadwood which is enough for any player to be put off playing football for life.

 

Well played again tonight Laurence now all you need to really improve is to change your alleglance to Sheperds Bush and forget about being a cottager.

First half we played really well and deserved our lead. Fantastic strike from Stubbsy who I thought had an excellent game and could have scored a couple more. Start of second half credit to Tonbridge who played us off the park and we were completely overrun for 15/20 minutesand our usually solid defence was all over the place. Bungle too slow coming out not for the first time and losing possession and they chip into an empty net! We improved slightly after that and our emergency striker Cloke so close to nicking a winner but not to be. Overall 1-1 a fair result though and should give us a bit of confidence going into the Sutton game.
