Midweek Fixtures & Results - 8/9/10 November

former Ware keeper Joe Croft who has had a number of trials with Premiership Club's and could well go all the way in the game

Another one of Rhodes fascinations is brewing!!!

If the keeper Joe Croft is playing for WGC now i can see why he is the former Ware keeper and why he was not taken on by any Premiership club...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from what im hearing that isnt the case at WGC...?

Monkeymonkey8 - Well that just goes to show you shouldn't always believe what you hear, the Club have drafted in some great talent so far such as former Kentish Town players Paul Butler, Carl Gibbs and Charlie Kanaris as well as former Ware keeper Joe Croft who has had a number of trials with Premiership Club's and could well go all the way in the game

Rhodes - im talking about seeing a team starting to bond and im hearing that isnt happening at WGC.......why your telling me and the world who they have recruited i dont know!!!???

So how many of the remaining 7 have they won?

Monkeymonkey8 - It's really only 6 games as the Manager inherited the old team when arriving at Herns Lane the day before losing at home to a decent St Albans City Reserves side. Of those 6 games there have been some very encouraging performances including an excellent 2-0 win at Buckingham Athletic which, as you well know, is never an easy place to go to.

"a decent st albans city reserves side" no rhodes they are pony and should of been 9-1 tonight but for some heroics in goal for them.

No rome was not built in a day but did not take 4000 years either. Just keep associating with wgc because it could be a v.good

bet they will be in div 2 next year. UP THE CITY!!!! do 1 rhodes u sap!!!

Wednesday 10th November 2010

Kentish Town FC vs Colney Heath FC

This game will take place at Colney Heaths Recreation Ground, High Street, Colney Heath 7.45pm Kick Off

Went over to watch this game last night.....Colney started well and took the lead when a ball fell in the box for the big centre half to finish (a good finish for him!) but Town took over after that......number 9 scoring a good goal running onto a through ball to finish well! 1 all at half time....Town went 2-1 up....Colney tried to get back into it and had a header cleared off the line....but Town looked like they would pick them off on the break and did so from the right side when the player chipped the keeper with a great finish (if he meant it!).....game over! 3-1.

Pitch looked good at the start....not so good at the end! Very cold night......had 2 x ham rolls from the bar very nice..oh and the tea was decent!.....would have been nice if they had a burger van thou! lol

No-one likes us - It must have been like the World Cup, FA Cup and Champions League Finals all rolled into one for you playing at a palatial Step 2 ground, I bet you were like rabitts caught in the headlights but congratulations on the result

Well done Hatfield and KT on a good result

Yes a good result but was the game played at the Copthall Stadium afterall, Football Mitoo doesn't indicate that it took place at Colney Heath
