The true Enfield Town fans have enough nous about them to recognise that the management team and the squad of players can achieve a play off spot again this season. Certainly there is no lack of ability or team spirit. Back your lads through thick and thin this season as there is no lack of commitment by them.

Just wish that I could be there every week to support this team, but geographically unrealistic at present.

You have approx 30 to 40 singing fans every week - do make yourselves heard loud and proud as I'm sure you make a huge difference!

Now that you ladies have taken the bait and responded with some superb comments, I feel that the positivity, determination and commitment shown should be channeled to the management and team. You cannot however rely on last season's position at this time as I am sure you are aware. We need to deal with the present and tackle the present task at hand. I want ETFC to do well and get that promotion but nothing is guaranteed so all the ifs and buts and 'last season' excuses have to stop and the realism has to set in to take the team forward.

 

 

You've obviously not grasped my total motivation in my comments.

 

I get my motivation from watching our teams commitment in every game. Plus I've got no worries about the management. You have to take into consideration that Steve alone has a footballing lifetime of experience at this level both playing and managing, In other words he knows what he is doing.

Hmmm, interesting re-reading old threads from a few months ago and at times quite humorous.

 

Just wondered what the viewpoints of the likes of Fan-tastic are at present? Sorry, but I made a promise to myself to ask this question to the pescimists a few months down the line knowing the quality and talent that we possessed in the side.

 

Quick to criticise but never forthcoming with compliments or praise ;-)

Humble pie anyone?? Yes, yes, I know there is still a long way to go but it is called belief.
