[Barking Mad]

I do not wish to discuss Barking FC at present, merely lust over the talent out there in our league. Here is my XI of the season so far.

Based purely on what I've seen this season - I'd have both Sherwin Stanley (Enfield) and Rob Whitnell (Witham) in my first XI in place of Anton and Joe (both of whom I rate, the other two have just been better this season when I've seen them). Wouldn't argue with the midfield 3 at all, but I'd have Sendall in at right back and Oliva in at centre half (both Stansted) and I'd have Michael Marin (Eton Manor) at left back.

Ah yes I forgot Mr Stanley. When we played Enfield on the opening day he was not there. I like the other Enfield forwards as well, neal hughes and chris stowe. Although I think Stowe's attitude leaves a little to be desired. I like Sendall too, Long throw and tough tackler. Pitts is good on the ball though and has a great delivery.

If Liddiard was fit at the moment he would be in the team, or at least on the bench.

I disagree Blueman. The players we are talking about here are proven over a long period, I'd like to see where Chaz is in 6 months. I believe he could go on and player higher though.

How about either of the Barking centre halfs seeing as your a blue supporter, i have seen them a couple of times this year and last on Tues against Fisher and was impressed with both?also i liked the striker Jones!

Chas is still in the top 5 scorers of the league and has been missing for the last few weeks.

 

of course, as a proven player, the only ones that from Barking would be Sam Dennis and Chris Clarke.

 

Regarding Fisher, they were pants.

Absolutely agree regarding Sam Dennis. I thought about putting him in but the competition was strong. Jones is raw and will get better as he plays more games.

 

Perhaps, rather than criticise my team, you could suggest a team of your own?

From what of I've seen of the ESL this year the players that have really impressed me are Joe May - Eton Manor, Billy Sendall, Danny Cornwall, Aaron Best & Tommy Spillane all of Stansted & Sawbo's keeper Jamie ? Ring.

that might have something to do with the 10 in front of him. He had a good game when I saw him play & made 4 or 5 crucial saves v Clapton.
