Tonbridge Angels vs MFC

So I.O. might put CLOKE up front for his aerial ability eh? Well from what I saw on Saturday when pushed up front & surprisingly I can't recall him winning even ONE header up front. Not sure he will improve anything in that department.

I think Curtis would do a job up front, as far away from JK (should he play)as possible. To much "advice" from JK can be less than helpful.Fortunatly/ unfortunatley Curtis is showing such good form that to move him up front may prove counter productive. Bit of a dilemma for the manager.

Yes I agree too. Something I mentioned last week as a possibly try out. I realise that Curtis is playng out of skin at the back & has probably saved us from conceding more goals than we have done but Curtis has proved he can do a job anywhere on the pitch even if he dosent like that position. He never seems to let the club down these days & I am more than confident he could do a good temporary job up there .

Okay, up front is slightly different to what he's used to but on the occasions that he has ventured forward we look dangerous. He is the ONE player that at this time can outjump people (with the loss of Jay). With Wilsons deliveries into him he can get his head on them & power them into the net just like that chance on Saturday that was close to a goal.He will annoy defenders too up front by harrassing them for 90 minutes. He also has good ability on the ball lets not forget that.

Curtis..how about it fella?. :)

Cloke at the back with Ball, Osbourne,Lacey & possibly Keister should be able to,between them shore up the back line.We have nothing to lose at this time by giving it a go. I doubt the gaffer will go with it but I personally think its worth a try.

Tonight's Youth team game at Longmead has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch - there's a thread on the Angel's Forum on the subject http://www.tonbridgeafc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,7834.0.html

Would not be too upset if the game is off. This is a difficult enough game as it is, let alone without key players. If it is called off It allows players to get fit and hopefully Welford will be back by then.

It has been raining all day so far in Hildenborough - 5 mins from Longmead. As soon as I hear anything official, I'll post here and on the official website.
