Well, CD's only came about in the mid '80s, but if you're talking about CD releases of original albums, I have stuff dating back to the '40s/'50s.

The first CDs I bought were on my 17th birthday. John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Tears For Fears. I've bought around 850 since.

The oldest CD album, as opposed to CD compilation, would be Please Please Me by The Beatles from 1963.

The oldest LP I own would probably be an original Rubber Soul from 1965, although I own a 1988 re-issue of Please Please Me too. Do re-issues count??

There are so many different answers to your question.
