Thoughts on today's game??

I personally thought that Hornchurch were good for the points today. Good stuff from Concord on occasions, but the game had an edge to it and was quite physical.

Disappointed with Mr Cowley's play acting in the second half against his former employers. A lot of players do it, but that was a bit over the top.

 

Think Tam was unlucky to get the second yellow (1st one was fair enough).

hornchurch had to dig deep for a result but when u are on the sort of run we are just goes to show the character of the side the beachboys played their part in an enjoyable game and another 3 points

Never a sending off,still not happy with nicky cowleys blatant play acting in the second half,why they need to do it is beyond me as they are a decent enough side

My boys team played Concords U18s in the county cup at concord on Sunday, and if you think our ref was bad, well this one is one of the worst I've come across in as long as I can remember, sent off 2 of our players and even swore at them.

What annoyed me was the crowding of the ref,the tackle on nick cowley was a free kick,nothing more but once all their players crowded the ref he decided to take action

We decided in the first half to appeal for everything as fans as it was the only way to even it up,every time one of their players went down their players went mad so we decided to get even,think we rattled their number 3 so job done

Lol beachboys,you know I am a forum warrier and have been around,u have been there when ricay have said the same lol,I ain't got a problem with the way concord play just didn't like cowleys blatant scream and resulting scurry which followed,what was even funnier though was Dale charging out then 20 yards away suddenly realising he was running towards his beloved east side

I thought Concord played some entertaining stuff - Harry Elmes could have been through on goal early if he hadn't slipped.
