Mole Valley SCR 4-3 Hanworth Villa

With the previous three games between the sides seeing 25 goals, this was always going to be a high scoring encounter.

Villa had the better of the opening exchanges, we came back strongly, but as has been our way of late, failed to trouble the keeper.

Villa took the lead midway through the half, when we failed to get close to the Lee Higgs at a corner, and allowed him a free header to put them 1 up. They should have gone 2-0 up shortly after when our centre half lost possession about 10 yards outside the box, and their lad went through on goal, but fired his shot wide.

Half time was 1-0 to Villa

We levelled a couple of minutes into the half through new signing Darryl Cooper-Smith, and took the lead a couple of minutes later through Liam Holden.

The lead didn't last long, as a good move down the right saw a low cross turned home at the back stick by Levi King to level for Villa. We retook the lead a couple of minutes later when Holden bundled the ball home from close range.

Both sides had chances to score again, but it wasn't until about 15 minutes to go, when Villa levelled, with a top quality lob by King.

Looked like the game was going to finish as a 3-3 draw (like the earlier fixture), but Cooper-Smith popped up in injury time to score the winner.

Enjoyable game, plenty of action, and hopefully we will be able to put a run together from here.

Camberley 0 v 1 Colliers Wood

Camberley dominated the first half and missed 5 or 6 good chances and Colliers scored a worldy to take the lead and to be fair held on comfortbaly in the 2nd half.

Only other result I know is Eversley 8 v 2 Westfield. Look forward to that being cos the ref didnt give a cast iron penalty and Eversley scoring in added time that didnt exist ;)

Colliers Wood are second in the league table of whinging girls behind Egham. The worst thing about it is the ref fell for it the majority of the time. Absolutely no authority whatsoever. He'd make a good Royal Mail manager.

I can't see why anyone would want to pay good money to put up with that whinge-fest every week.

Football-wise no complaints with the score. That's our own fault. They're not a bad side but unwatchable unless you're deaf.

And this is where you make yourself look a bit silly Tempie. On 2 other threads you have have had a pop at other clubs in this league and when someone has a pop at yours you have to reply with abuse. Possibly backs up what the poster said. I would suggest you ingore comments like that.

For a start, it's not "Tempie", "Kroonsy". Second, was there any need to insult Egham? No. As for your offer of a beer and a good laugh, the only problems are that I don't drink beer cos it makes me ill and having a laugh would be dependent on that day's performance. As for policing my threads, that is getting a bit uncomfortable - we are all consistent in our inconsistencies, which, as a ref, you would know a lot about.

Ok I accept it is not "Tempie" but you need to accept I am not a ref.

Oh, sorry, thought you were. Well, for the record, it's Mark, or Fergy, which sounds a lot better than Tempie. As for "ingoring", as was said, that sounds messy, so I will ignore that. Now try to convince me that Camberley don't whinge (they do, I have seen them do it; we have played each other often enough. My main whinge against Camberley is your record against us recently). All teams whinge - and so do posters on sites like this. And all managers, coaches and match officials are inconsistent too. I do drink cider.

Picking me up on my spelling. Oh well that opens up the floodgates and I am finished.

Yep they sure do. You have posted opinions on clubs and I am not aware that any of them have been met with abuse. You on the other hand do exactly that when your team is criticised. Most of the season Duncs has made many many attempts to wind us Camberley folk up with his posts but as of yet not one person has abused him because of that. As much as you are entitled to your opinions on other clubs then such like on yours.

Cider makes me sick but I will happily buy you a cider when I am next at Egham game.

Animal what you think of game.

I spoke to him an another player there words were " we got smashed" i took that as they were 2 nd best

We played very well yesterday Newby and if im honest I dont think Staines expected that. Sets us up nicely for next Saturday in the Fa Vase v Reading which after yesterdays performance is certainly winnable. Animal which number were you?

Guildford City 2-1 Badshot Lea

Two Camara goals provided the 3 points for City. Brad Smith levelled in between. All three were decent efforts. Badshot Lea had a chance to take the lead after Tiny Temper won a penalty, much to the disgust of the Guildford players and bench. This was well saved by the keeper and the rebound was blasted towards the heavens, i think by Brad Smith. Guildford worth the win I think overall. Very niggly in the first half, the elbows and handbags were flying about a bit. Ref was kept busy with quite a few yellows issued over the 90.

Good footage as per usual TRS - must of been using that zoom button as far away as the "stand" is from the pith down at Guildford!!

That was a stonewall penalty if ever i saw one!! Your footage clearly shows the defender sticking out his leg and tripping me to be fair. :492:

Im not sure i agree Guildford worth the win overall though and that is a non biased view - We had much more clear cut chances in the game and all in all i think the minnimum we should have got was a draw being that we missed the penalty to go up 2-1 at HT. From what i remember, other than their two goals - they only had 1 other shot on goal which was at the end of the game.

That said Guildford City are a good side with a nasty edge - deffo a well drilled, very physical side as well being able to play a bit so fair play to them - Decent side.

GC are in a strong postion at the top of the table right now with the games in hand and all but theres a long way to go and I still personally think the winners of this division could be from at least 3/4 teams. coffee%20(2).gif

DANIELPJN WHAT A GENT. THANKS FOR THAT INFORMATION, IT'S NICE TO KNOW THAT PLAYERS FROM GODALMING WOUOLD LIKE TO GO TO EVERSLEY THAT DOES SHOW GOOD INTENTION AND POTENTIAL PROGRESS. BUT SURELY, THE PLAYERS AT FLEET TOWN, SANDHURST & GODALMING WOULD HAVE BEEN ON A WAGE, SO WOULDN'T YOU HAVE AN AGREEMENT WITH THEM TO PAY THEIR WAGE OR AT LEAST HALF OF IT ? I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE UNDERSTANDING AGREEMENT OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT ?

PLUS I'M SURE SAVAGE MUST BE ON A WAGE AS WELL ? IS HE PLAYER COACH ?
